Anyways. I just had a thought. Has anyone ever suggested to NP if paid users could instead of just text signatures to have full on banners?

I'd pay extra for that and I'm some others would too.

or would that be overkill? and take away from the value of the current ads on Namepros?

Without wanting to start a fight with management i have seen first hand that it is done. Not everyone is working for namepros.
