My Novi.Online for unknown reason it failed parking at Dan.com, after asked my registrar it turns out that registry has put it on 'hold' status, I checked every online free tools see if any report abused it even in Radix.website, they all show up "not suspended" or "clean", sure I believe so because I've never developed it in any website usage so what is wrong with it? would it be possible they confiscate my domain just because facebook use novi.com as their coin wallet?

Other than the obvious TM issues, I noticed the registrar is West (China). Maybe the domain breaks some Chinese domain rule?
ofc, you should know better :) , just thought it might have slipped your attention.

ofc I already asked them cuz that's the registrar I am using, there is no such Chinese rule if it doesn't against 'authority', they told me the "registry" put it on hold.

Something's not right. I see you have set Dan's nameservers but the authorative nameserver returns a centralnic server. It doesn't return an A record either, hence it won't resolve. So yeah, probably a registry hold.

And did you confirm your identity at your Chinese registrar?
For accredited TLDs in China it is required, as I know.
    Or domain will be blocked.

Ask your registrar... they will contact Radix on your behalf via their panel at Radix...
Usually registries reply only to their accredited registrars... NOT to registrants.

Thx, I’ll try that, but that’s not right if they are like you said only respond “accredited registrars”, I am the one got ripped off they should have given a way to end-consumers resolutions.
Is there any other way? Would it work I contact central nic?

CentralNic is just their tech backend.

    Nothing illegal here...
    Registries serve their registrars...
And registrars serve their customers (registrants).
    This scheme is very traditional.

I would say auto reply is important for consumer’s feeling.

Hi, guys, things turns out that registry didn’t put it on hold, but registrar did, it’s really my bad and I should clarify here.
This is the Redix support reply on me:
    Hello Jimmy,

    Thank you for your patience.

We see that you have registered novi.online under the Registrar CHENGDU WEST DIMENSION DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD and there is no suspension on the domain from the registry.

The current status of the domain is serverHold that means that the suspension is placed by the Registrar and not the Registry. Hence, please get in touch with your Registrar to get the domain unsuspended from their end.

You may refer this link to know the domain status: https://www.whois.com/whois/novi.online

    Hope this information helps you.

    Regards,
    Moin

Thanks for everyone who take this thread a look and giving me advices to my question of my concern, and NP.

I also told my registrar hoping that such thing should not happen again otherwise I could blame the wrong subject, I believe they will do better.
Thanks for Redix giving me prompt reply I am sure I am willing to get more .online domain names with happiness.

Previously I have seen only clientHold status set by registrars.
Didn't know that they can control even serverHold (usually only registries set this status).

Even recently I regged some dropped .online domain and within a few hours serverHold was automatically set by Radix.
Reason: this domain was listed in SURBL.

I think you were not wrong, I think they both locked it because after all I asked my registrar that ‘is there anyway I can recognize which side holding the status?’ and they said because I should do the ownership transfer process again whenever I acquired or caught a new domain from other sellers (although I remember I’ve done it every time or it’s of some hiatus glitches), so...it seems like my fault.O_o

Hi, guys, sorry for the last bothering I know it’s annoying but I am accountable to claim it again for Radix’s sakes, yesterday I received an last email from Redix which proved you guys were all about right at first place that it’s all due to Chinese law, so shame on me! The real reason is the ZDNS blocked my name which means it is NOT just registry can put me on server hold so does ZDNS, I surely know what certifications that I need to provide to my registrar and ofc I did, but they should have submitted again whenever I acquiring or catching a new domain names, maybe it’s my fault I should’ve submitted again by press some button and my registrar should’ve noticed issue at first time when I claimed it rather than telling me registry done it to me, sorry for the inconveniences. I am sure you won’t meet these problem without using Chinese registry.
(and I believe that they’re not doing it intentionally just is of some mistakes)

    It is they replied below:
    Hi JIMMY,

The domain name novi.online has been suspended by ZDNS due to failed verification as per the Chinese laws. We recommend you to ensure that the domain name has the right and complete contact information, after which you may request for an unsuspension at ZDNS. You may reach out to ZDNS at:
    Email: [email protected]
    Phone: +86-10-58813116
    Thank you.
