.tv My new goal: Get a .tv name listed on GreatDomains.com!

They denied my request to list my .tv name, so I made it a personal goal to reg one they'll list. I have a few in mind that I think have a good shot.

So from looking at the .tv names for sale on GD

what kind of names do YOU think they are looking for?

I've noticed GreatDomains lists a lot of these names, but I don't hear about too many sales, except for the thread a couple of months ago about mail.tv and travel.tv.

Know of any other big sales?

I'm stunned at the .tv names of mine they turned away. Faithful.tv, ipray.tv, holycross.tv, redo.tv, mandatory.tv, muff.tv (<--not suprised), and then they finally accepted spiked.tv of all things. It's been listed for about a month now and nothing...I don't expect to get an offer for at least three or four months if even then.

Here are the .TV names they agreed to list for me:

BirthControl.TV
Aging.TV
Joy.TV

They also accepted Forensics.TV, but I declined the offer, as I chose to list on the AfterNIC (exclusive) Showcase instead.

I had a great sale in InternetPoker_dot_TV. Great Domains declined to list it.

Thanks for your help. Their criteria seems a little odd at times. They wouldn't select InternetPoker dot TV but looks like they accepted virtualcasino dot tv

Anyone else have .tv names (or any names for that matter) accepted by GreatDomains?

I have Videos, Dvd, Tourism, Charm, Pda, Recreation, Gastronomy.tv listed there. got a few offers but so far no sale.

I have listed numerous names on GD in the past. All just sat there with no buyers.

I "fired" GD and sold them all myself.

Listing with GD is a waste of time :imho:.

i listed introduction.tv with them last year, not sure if its still there. i provided a small list and they wanted a few but i wasnt happy with the prices, given .tv's bright and profitable future. so i am sitting on them and waiting!

I agree ... I have a domain that's been listed there for @ 2 years now ... no offers, but just having it there helps i suppose... If you get listed there and expect an offer in 3-4 months - forget it, only a very lucky few will see offers.
