This is a very interesting sale to me.

Musafir means 'traveler' in Hindi, Urdu.

This is the first time I'm seeing a big sale for a Hindi keyword. I had disregarded Indian companies as being quite ignorant of domains, and preferring the cheapest way out.
But this one obviously proved me wrong.

Any other domainers holding Indian names like these in their portfolios (not .in/.co.in, but in .com/.net)? What has been the response to them? Do they get many offers, no offers, some offers? How is this market performing, and how is it likely to perform in the future when the Indian market matures?

well, it means traveler in Urdu. But Urdu has been used for such a long time in India that Urdu words are sometimes more common than Hindi words..
