I've found it something unusual. This domain urlaub.com has now got 700,000 EUR (1,027,180 USD, Feb/15/2008) bid on Sedo.

Is it worth more than one million dollars to acquire?

Though a bit off topic, this is obviously happening. What we do not know if they will intuitively associate .com, .cn/.com.cn, .in/co.in with the internet or IDN.IDN. If I would surely know this information I would be much much richer.

more visitors = more traffic = more clicks on ADS = more money going around


and yes they may enjoy IDN.IDN but as I did read only italian on .it years ago, now I mainly read in English on .com

I agree. But at the same time PPC prices stay up only if online sales are increasing.

As regards the extentions, when I started using the internet my tld order was as follows: .org, .ro, .hu, .edu, .int (yes, .int, as I was checking daily coe.int and europa.eu.int - at that time the official EU site) and yes lastly .com. The only .com site I was looking for was yahoo, because I used their email. Now, mainly .com.
