I preregistered quite a few mobi names. Now I'm buying on the secondary market.

My strategy is to buy ONLY names that were preregistered. So, if you have names that were registered on 9/16/2006, I'd love to review the list for purchase!!!

I don't exactly agree with my own statement. I tend to look for registration on the opening day (9/26/2006 - not 9/16/2006 as stated above) as most of the best available names went immediately.

By 10/1/2006, there was little by the way of outstanding available names ready to be picked off the market.

It doesn't mean I wouldn't buy a 10/1/2006+ name.

BTW, I'm buying heavily. I apologize if I haven't responded to PM. I respond if I am interested in purchasing.

I have a bit of a gut for this.

There are names that we can all agree are meteoric. Ringtones.mobi for instance is just off the charts excellent.

But, 3 layers before you get to meteoric exists an outstanding bunch of names.

I generally look for names that can result in a transaction - a purchase of a consumer good. I also look for personal names, as I feel that MOBI will be the hotbed for that sort of thing.

So, I picked up Eric.mobi this week. I have about 25 first names. Give or take.

If i'm not mistaken I believe, jeremyp that you said you were around before .com's got hot? Now if this person has enough insight to see that .com's would be valuable, dont you think they have some weight in the investments they are making on .mobi's? Well it seems to me that he is doing the exact same thing today right now. I'll stop here because I dont want to mess up any deals jeremyp might be working on BTW jeremy if you see anything you like in my sig let me know.
