I rarely ask for appraisals anymore. I thought I might ask about this one though. The popularity of MMA has literally exploded over the last year. I bought this name almost 2 years ago, Hang reg. I also own the singular version. I have had both of them at 1plus.net for a year. I have not even looked at them in the last 6 months, nor have I checked the google analytics. I was updating my account and found that this name has been getting pretty good traffic. In last 30 days the traffic count is up to 251, 210 type-in direct traffic, 41 visits via search engines. On August 28 traffic started increasing. There have been multiple 20+ visit days. The traffic is not a result of my signature either, I just added the MMA names to my sig a few days ago. Assuming the traffic keeps consistant what is the valus of a name like this. I have been busy buying and selling cctlds, and my .com valuations are a bit rusty!

As a huge MMA fan and an owner of many MMA related domain names, I can say that this is a nice .com MMA name. I'd recommend holding or developing it as the sport of Mixed Martial Arts will in all likelihood continue it's meteoric rise. Honestly, the sport is still in it's infancy. If you were to sell it now I imagine you could get $50-$150 from a reseller and $100-$500 from an end user.

I appreciate your input. I was planning on holding. As you said its still in its infancy as sports go. I was just curious what others thought. Personally I would think more than $150 reseller just for the traffic and revenue. I just sold a hyphen .com for $400. I have an assortment of fight names, several of which have had some nice $XXX offers and interest from boxing sanctioning bodies. I intend on holding for a while.

Upon reflection, I'd revise my estimate upwards. I didn't look at the current traffic numbers carefully, so likely you are right that the name would go for more than my previous estimate. I could see a reseller paying $250-$500 and a end user paying up to 1K.

Thanks for your thoughts again, but you don't have to change your opinion. You are welcome and entitled to your own thoughts. I realize its basically a 3 word domain, a tough sell. Luckily this one gets traffic and makes money! Over the next year it should get real interesting!

Pure Play name. Very nice name I would appraise in the high $$$ to low $$$$ range. You have the singular and plural. The market is hot for this content. The content consumer in this space is "Fanatic".
