Let me get something straight first - ppl in this 'domain name' business, are you guys just solely buying/selling domains? Not creating/changing any of the content of your domains?

1. What's a parked domain?
2. What's a turnkey site?
3. How's the name www.huntmymusic.com for an mp3 download site?
(it's already up and running, just wondering if it was a good name in the eyes of domain experts )

Nope! Lots of domainers develop their domains. There are a large number that simply resell them, but you'll find a ton that actually develop the names.

At the same time, however, lack of developed sites basically killed three of the newest extensions: .eu, .mobi, and .asia. Average Internet users aren't aware these extensions exist because domainers buy up the majority of "good" names and let them sit with no development.

1. What's a parked domain?

It's a domain that's doing nothing but generating revenue from pay-per-click ads on the page. A parked domain typically has no unique content. You've probably seen one before.

2. What's a turnkey site?

It's simply a site that isn't really unique, but is using a piece of coding or script that actually does something. These don't typically require a unique business plan or a lot of time to launch.

3. How's the name www.huntmymusic.com for an mp3 download site?
(it's already up and running, just wondering if it was a good name in the eyes of domain experts )

Not bad. Pretty easy to remember.
