"Bradford is one of Milwaukee's most popular beaches for swimming and sunbathing. With its close proximity to Veterans Park, Bradford gets some of the biggest crowds. This beach was originally built on a landfill in the '30s. The original shoreline is on the other side of Lincoln Memorial drive. Amenities include beach house, restrooms, hiking trails, bike paths and kite and tandem bike rental. -- Jeff Yoders "
