You can register metaverse related domains as long as you don't register something like MetaverseTwitter. Twitter is well known trademark.

good catch. according to the uspto there are several tms for the stand alone word twitter. i'm disappointed in trademarkia for not having any of them. they are usually my go to for tm checks.
