Maybe use it same way ppl use em now.. if ppl own businesses in the metaverse wouldn’t they advertise in the metaverse and online like they do now? If somebody was looking for a job at the metamall they could fill out an application in person or online right? That’s same way it’s done now. But anyway idfkijs....

well.. u know when we are advanced enuf to have smoothly working metaverse...like avatar movie or roughly that...then stuff like typing domain names etc is just going to be unthinkable.. slowing things down.. etc

frankly... i think mv is like 10 to 20 yrs away...cause it needs fully working vr..ar.. etc... to integrate them all together cause that's what mv does..

so in 10 to 20 years while internet will exist ...it will be nothing like now... and I doubt there will be domains as we know them.

they have been round for a while..and nothing lasts forever

which is a good thing cause it means progress.. change is progress.. evolution.

of course we domainers dont care.. if there is chance to make money now..we go for it.

mv is far far away..and yet names sell.. so ... that's alright with mama...

Take it a step further - companies have been working on mind uploading for a few years now so at some point we will just upload ourselves into the metaverse or have implants fitted and merge reality with the metaverse, throw in Ai & Quantum computing and it does not seem that far fetched to assume it will happen at some point.....

Keeping in mind that Snow Crash for example was published in 1992.

In 2021, yes we are "nearly there" as far as the actual tech goes. Metaverse 1.0.... Of course it will just get bigger and better over the next 30 years....
