I'm going for MV.......it makes perfect sense, short and direct!
Good thing it's short since it's hyphenated, figured why not.
T/h//e - MV (.)C0M
I personally think anyone who argues that MV doesn't have legs then it's clear they have heavily invested in Meterverse+keyword, Meta+keyword and keyword+verse and will use this thread to pump to end-users! Just my 2 cents 👍
no of course I didnt use me as.gold.standard.. when I said most never heard it it was.a guess.
at this point both our guesses stand unverified. but u of course with respect are welcome to guess opposite..that most have heard it.
like Elad said keep eyes on prize and experiments to min
Some keywords have clout and in my opinion should not be abbreviated because then they might lose that clout visually.
Metaverse is one such keyword.
Pump to end-users lol.
Such a shame.

Of course. I couldn't agree more, but I already gave out the warnings about MV in my first post about it saying "don't hold your breath". That includes most speculative domains in future tech as well, including 99% of Metaverse domains... MV is even more speculative and risky because it's a sub-niche.
Anyone who goes into niche domaining that still doesn't understand that regging multiple domains in any niche (especially future tech) comes with great risk needs to find a new hobby.
All niches are risky. MV is even riskier because barely anyone is using it. Not sure what you're worried about. It's not like you are going to prevent people from wasting their money and do you *really* care?
Here we go!
... Don't go on a MV regging spree. There aren't any companies doing any *marketing* currently with MV. There is no sign that anyone will either. I don't endorse regging a bunch of MV names so don't blame me if you waste your money. It's a super risky bet, like regging a bunch of BC domains to represent Blockchain (as I've already said). There is a SUPER HIGH chance that you are wasting your money if you're regging "Metaverse" domains and there is a NEAR CERTAIN risk that you are wasting money regging "MV" domains. ALL of niches are risky but when you deal with experimental abbreviations that's quadruply risky! (and no I'm not sure quadruply is even a word 😆)
Boom! ... I'm done warning you guys...
Yes I do care, seen it happened before.
Some of us care.
agree for mv
metaverse regging is just fine..but few yrs ago. so timing is issue here..not keyword
This ^ and M/V+ oasis are the only 2 I have just because it's short and could be used. don't except to make a killing on it either.
I agree with @oldtimer
Metaverse is just to cool a word to cut short and walk around saying " in to the MV we go". I think it's great for typing out commination.
But just like BLOCKCHAIN...nose goes, or in this case name goes, metaverse is cool fun and descriptive. I believe Meta & verse & metaverse are the real bread winners here.( MV is broad enough that it could pull of sales on something that’s not even Metaverse related ex: MotorVechicleParts (mvParts)
Sure I think there will be a few nice MV brands pop for MetaVerse, just not the way xr, and vr Have, but MV needs explained, if you don't know what it's referring to .
Also one thing AR XR AND VR all have in common which helped it catch is the R for Reality, which helps people recognize and adopt it. MV just won’t have the same play and that’s just y my personal thought, non the less I picked up 2 just to have my feet in that pool too! Gl all!
Meta and Metaverse do not
Also unlike Virtual Reality (still great) plus keyword
It's 2 words
Metaverse and blockchain are ( Compound words, 1 word made up of 2)
Just my 2 cents
The only reason I'm holding MV domains is in case the tides turn and a major co starts using MV in their major *marketing* campaigns, but it's a just gamble, not proper domain "investing". If you are not aware of the science, you should do more research on how this industry works before wasting your money.
All niche domaining is risky and Metaverse is EXTREMELY risky, especially because it's a longish word. It's not as certain as a niche like Real Estate for example. 98% of you (especially with 2 word Metaverse domains) are wasting your money. Even some "top tier", 2 word Metaverse domains will never sell for even close to what their owners are hoping for. This is the nature of ALL speculative niche domaining.
The biggest winner in domain speculation is the house - the registrars and registries.
Speaking of which. Now would be a great time to own a ". meta" registry.
Nothing left good enough to register, all good ones taken years ago!

Today I was offered $ 60,000 for metaverse.ai . I turned it down, I want $ 200,000, because this name is at the intersection of two hot topics, AI and
he might get it ..but imo he will have to wait a very longtime
I think its a mistake.not.to take the 60k
what he calls.intrtsection while in a way there..may only exist in his head as.additional.value
frankly what does that even imply to connect metaverse with ai.. at least cheese.pizza has.some.obvious link.
but most domainers do suffer.from the..my domain is worth one million syndrome
I agree, would of taking the $60k( unless was 1st offer )
But actually Metaverse and AI are and will be interconnected.
Quick google search you can see several links!
It would makes sense for AI to “live” within metaverse!
Show on Netflix “Altered Carbon” the host of the Hotel..is and AI begin
Also I own 1 .ai name already and it’s metaverse related.
yeah... 200k is a lot of money..just for linking mv to ai..and via an extension..
.. more than 175k for io
io wins hands down over ai imo.
anyway.. if he can afford to wait... 5 to 10 yrs of now maybe he will get 6fig
Within in the *
