You say in your article that over 48,000 new “meta” domains were sold a day after facebook rebranded officially to Meta.

So far, people do not fear any legal / tm problems...

seems there are no legal problems there.

Reminds of href.li which websites, including Tumblr, use to remove the referer header from links from thier website.
