Looking to sell some accumulated domains, not in a rush. How to proceed?

At work, we've accumulated a couple of hundred domains over the last 10-15 years. We've not been trying to collect them, but have tended to buy up names relating to telecommunications and consumer electronics sort of "just in case."

In a recent review I realized that we aren't doing anything with most of them, and wanted to investigate selling some of them off. I listed a few of the ones I thought were decent over at Sedo, ones representing products still popular on our own website and e-commerce store (like CallRecorders.com, just as an example, they are mostly two dictionary word domain names) today.

Given that we're not under pressure to sell, should I do anything else? I'm thinking of just listing 50-60 of them at Sedo and waiting to see if offers come in.

Edit: One other question: What is a good strategy for pricing on Sedo? I don't like being the one to name a price first in a negotiation, so ended up going (what I imagine to be) very high with my ask price.

The seniors here could probably give you a lot more advice than I can, but in terms of pricing strategy, it all depends on the quality of your domain names, you could start them all off at $60, if you over-price them, than you won't get any offers.

List them for sale on NP's and see what kind of response you get, you might find someone who is willing to buy your whole portfolio:)

I think I may do just that.

I'm not sure how good of a market this is to be actively hunting down sales though. I've gotten letters from several competitors in the last few months saying that either they are restructuring or going out of business and want a buyer for their websites/domains.

I don't know the domain market so I don't know how much the market can bear, but it seems like there will be a lot of good telecommunications related domains going up for sale for us to fight against.
