Looking for help transfering out of Enom Central...

Posting here first.

Anyone had experience transferring a domain out of enom central to outside registrar? I've had a look but cant find current concise directions either here or google. Am I looking in the wrong place?

It works like with any other registrar:

• make sure the name is unlocked
• retrieve the EPP code

Then initiate the transfer from the gaining registrar.

once you've logged into enom,go to my domains

then click on your domain


in this page click "general settings"

then click on link that says "email auth code to registrant"

Note!! before you do this, make sure the whois info has been updated with your valid email.


then initiate transfer from your preferred registrar

I had completed these steps and the other transfer had been initiated from other registrar(along with epp and auth codes). I'm guessing its just a waiting game untill I receive notification. Been a day or two so thought I would check incase there were any other steps in the process.

wait game, yes.. but you should have received some sort of confirmation, no?

In another day or two watch for an email from ENOM for you to "Authorize" the transfer -- it should take you to a screen where you can Accept or Reject it. Once you Accept it, it should move to the new registrar within minutes (at least that's how it has worked for me going from ENOM to GoDaddy).
