I know the answer is more nuanced than a simple 'Yeah, all the time' or 'No, don't bother' but is it worth trawling through hundreds of expired domains in hopes of finding a hidden gem nobody has snatched up - or religiously refreshing an expiry webpage as newly deleted domains are added?

Do all the good ones get taken via alternate methods or am I putting my time to good use by investing in the expired domain search? :watching:

You can find good domains but it is a long time search, I began to abstain from hand regs, some names comes in my head and I go hand reg, even not looking anymore on drop lists, like with one dictionary word in ORG that was dropped recently, I go check and see all major TLD's are registered but ORG just dropped, lucky me and a loss for one NP's member who owned it.
Focus on quality, as every NP member are saying in many topics, only you will see quality with more years and experience, you will end up like me and others liquidating the poor versions and then you will see your loses.
Registrars are happy to see new domainers, who hand reg domains like sheeple, like me in the beginning.

Can anyone share their fav go-to sites for these types of lists and acquisitions?

The expired domains net, is not always up to date, better to check dropcatch, com in 2 or 3 days interval, there you can check what is dropping soon.
