Labeled as REQ-LOGO in Design Contests, started by DomainMOD, May 28, 2020
I think that you might be stepping on my toes a bit with that tree.
Sorry no, see the notes by the contest holder "Pictures, Drawings, and Logos for Inspiration:" images that attached. I know you can do better than that.
My design is not one of those attached. You can do better. Be original.
Sorry again, but I just followed the rules, I searched on the 'Inspirations' of the 'Red Willow Trees' and what do you mean by 'Be Original' your design on top and below are the inspirations. For your info here
That is my design on the top. What does it have to do with the rest?
Thank you for this contest. I really enjoyed designing this submission. This is an original logo created just for this contest. 100% vector graphics.
If you like this submission, you are more than welcome to let me know if you would like me to customize anything to your liking after the contest is over.

100% Original Vector Graphics. Feedback appreciated. Thank you.
I like the base and it is an interesting design but I don't think it is natural looking enough for this project. Very nice touch showing the potential application on a texture though.
I like that you can see the top of the tree but the root structure gets a little out of hand and looks like it cuts off a bit right at ground level. I also liked the tops of the trees in the previous 2 submission of yours. This one is a little too dense and those had some space to allow the design to breath a bit more.
I really like the more natural tree but I find the roots a tiny bit off putting. Maybe less of them? I still really like that shape with the text and your font.
1st Submission (#29) - VERY original design and I really like it over all. Great color combo and interesting abstract. The two drapes to the side do remind me of hair a tiny bit though. I like the choice of font very much. I just don't think the tree is organic enough for this project though.
2nd Submission (#35) - I like your color choice and font overall but feel like the text might be a bit thin. In the tree I really like the organic aspect and the draping branches that say willow but the overall shape is a bit too flat and square for me. The top looks a bit like a head with a part at the highlight.
It's an interesting logo but it looks a bit seasonal with that shade of red and green, and while I can see hints of a canopy in the green arrows, I don't feel like it suits the project or inspiration provided.
1st Submission (#34) - I really like this logo. It's readable and has organic/natural elements in it. Both presentations are nice and showcase it well. I beleive it would be recognizable. The only thing I might be interested in seeing is a more realistic tree or this one looking a bit more flowy. I also wonder it the lines of the art are too thin and might bet lost on a multilcolored background like a video overlay or photo overlay? It could also be I just can't envision it. Nice job either way!
2nd Submission (#36) - I really like this one as well! It's a beautiful, simple, elegant design. Thanks for showing the graphic in two locations in relation to the text. I do really lean towards the graphic over the text. As much as I love this one though, unfortunately I don't think it's quite right for this project.
Thanks for the feedback! I definitely get what you mean. I personally avoided realism because I've found that it doesn't work best for logos. There is a fine balance between realistic, fine features VS line thickness.
I really like the change in composition with the text below the graphic. I also really loved your original tree though. Any chance you can try one with the original tree and the text from your most recent post?
Hi @DomainMOD thanks for the quick feedback, here is the less roots design.
My client had a tough choice deciding, but the results are finally in...
Although it was a really hard decision to narrow it down to the top few designs, and even tougher to decide between those, in the end Altruist Design's final post is the winner!
We loved the tree from your very first post, and the text in your final post just completed things perfectly based on the image we were picturing for this new brand.
Thank you all so much for participating and submitting so many great designs! It was a really neat experience being able to see such great options from talented individuals!
