Scrobbling music super site Last.fm is to branch into telly too with the launch of Last.tv. What’s the tuneful social network got planned for programming? Read on and we’ll tell you.
Last.fm plans to launch Last.tv in January in the UK and Europe in a bid to big up the Last.fm brand in the wake of rapid growth of rival music sites and services. The online TV service will feature live acts and presenters, and will aim to tie in with a major music festival next year, or even launch its own. It sounds like T4, but with all the potential of not having Nick Grimshaw to ruin proceedings, so we can’t wait.
