After the legal rangle over copyright involving the 'New King James Bible' I am now relaunching www.JesusChri.stwith the King James Bible on it as well as a christian forum.
Forgive the sarcasm here, but if anyone wants to claim copyright on a 1611 Bible then go ahead, I will simply ignor it!
Right, down to details.
At the moment I have copied from the Old Testament Genesis, Exodus, Leviticous, Numbers, and Deuteronomy onto the site. Next to go up over the coming week will be Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the New Testament. Others will follow on a regular basis until the whole of the Bible is on th site.
The forum has just gone live on the site, and it is hoped that this will encourage repeat visitings.
In the 2 months the site has been dead it has managed to still maintain an Alexa ranking of 1,555,315, and also now has a page rank of 2.
Sponsorship opportunities exist for a maximum of 56 places on the site (sponsorship links appear on every page).
The success (even short lived success because of the copyright rangle over the NKJV) proves that the name and site are appealing to christian visitors, and that this is a great way to get visitors to your site. Sponsorship is at the rate of $25 per calendar month (although there is an introductory offer of the first two months for $40 which you may be interested in partaking in).
