Recently acquired some LLL.in domains. I've got around 60 in total - but trying to get a few more decent ones when I can.

Anyway would love to hear what you think of these:

KAC .in

FDX .in

OXD.in

HYT .in

UGI .in

FCK .in

CTY .in

WPZ .in

Calling on the LLL.in experts here - please tell me what you these are worth (consider them to all have 1 year's registration).

Many thanks. Looking forward to your opinions.

I'm certainly not an expert on .in's or for that matter any domains at all but I'll try my best to give you an estimate.

OXD.in - Maybe a shortened version of Oxford, although the extension doesn't suit it but still that's what occurred to me (Imagine an Oxford in India :p)

HYT .in - Sounds like height, should easily touch $70 right now.

UGI .in - Can't see much in this one except that the starting and ending letters are both vowels and it's a double premium. Maybe $40-$50?

FCK .in - Ah! Missing a letter after F and before C. :p Easily $400 or so.

CTY .in - Sounds exactly like City and as an additional positive factor "Seeti" in Hindi means Whistle. Again, easily $200.

None of your .ins are premiums but some are even better than triple premiums. Just shows that letter quality hardly matters if the name(s) is/are good enough.

Thanks for your appraisal Basement. Much appreciated.

OXD is also short for Oxide which may be more appropriate than Oxford. Maybe even brandable.

India is huge. The population is huge. The potential is huge!

But right now, today, this very moment... unless they have a particular acronym that is popular to Indians, I would not give you more than $25-$50 each for these names. That's TODAY... to ME, another domainer. ;)

I've seen some 3 letter .IN's go for high $XXX and even low $X,XXX but these were 'meaningful' acronyms to the Indian market, not just average letter combinations.

The future could (and hopefully will) see these names increase in value significantly. I've owned, bought and sold many .IN and .CO.IN and wish these extensions good luck.

Thanks for all your inputs.

Jagusa & mdwiz where are ya! lol. Need some experience here to get some solid values put on these.

I just know the basics of the market - which is this:

The lowest they are going for is about $10-$12 (very poor letter combinations).

Average ones are going for around $20-$30.

Good letter combinations / premiums are going for around $50-$70 at least.

Some have sold in the low $x,xxx on sedo and other auction sites.

All the above is considering that they have around 6 months or more of registration left. And sold as individual names rather than in bulk deals.

The reason I ask for the appraisals is because I believe some of these names may not fall to normal rules / valuations. eg. CTY as right mentioned above can mean City or Seeti - and may be of higher value than other names of similar letter combination. So, based on this I'd love to hear a few more opinions.

thegov1 - I think fbi is a great name to have. Not sure if it would translate to the same as the US meaning, maybe it could. But either way its a nice domain.

No offence, but I don't see much use of a domain like FBI.in (Due to the FBI being an entirely NON-Indian thing) - unless it can be sold as an acronym for Fat Buffalos of India or something..

Anyone else?

ps. Since I started this thread for my own domains, please try to appraise my domains rather than fbi.in - many thanks.

kac = hangover

czy masz kaca kolego? lol

Unfortunately the extension doesn't quite fit the word/meaning... wish it was .pl - that'd be quite cool.
