Not sure how trademarks hang together in the USA but i can't see a trademark on Justin Bieber. On "bieber" and "bieber fever" there is one. Of course the one on "Bieber" may cover all of the Bieber variations. If you stick up a mini site heaping praise on Beaver, as he is known in australia, you may be in the clear anyway. Perhaps someone could explain further how this works. I have 3dbieber which was going to be a minisite for 3d vids etc on bieber.

I am not going to ask you what your reason is then, i still believe you got some legal doc from a lawyer or other entity, why would you sell your "goldmine" then other to have it sold to get out of trouble(you wish)

Just read here:

Overview to: Trademark Law in Canada (an article by Canadian lawyer Philip B. Kerr)

But let me ask you, would you like the fact someone has registered your name before you had a chance and is not surrendering your name to you rather will sell it, do you would appreciate that?

But let bieber boys lawyers take care of that :)

And your welcome with the bump, just remember this thread get's indexed by google, the more bumps the more exposure it will have when it comes to cyber squatting(another keyword put in here wohoo)lol....

Cheers

He is a celeb, so he doesn't really need to apply for a TM....similar for companies.....u actually don't have to apply for a TM since you are doing business as it is(but it is more complicated...and i am not a lawyer so don't count on what i say other than my expressed opinion lol)....just read through the legal forum here :), over and over again.....

So what you are saying then is that the multi thousands of current celeb sites are illegal? Perhaps Larry you should take this to the legal forum to clear this up as the negative comments may be stopping your sale.

Are they illegal?..it really depends how the celeb who is the rightful owner to their name looks at it....most likely a lot of them are illegal because they are operated by people who want to make a quick buck(hi Fling lol)...but others are operated by true fans and it is somehow a gray area.....

And since flingyboy didn't take it to the legal thread here and rather waited a couple days to bump his "sale" thread shows me that he exactly knows what he his doing :)

Am i here to "destroy his sales thread? no...i just don't want newbies step into a trap what could let them loose their money.... :)

Cheers
