Just missed out on Retail.ws---Did they get a good deal?

I was bidding on Retail.ws and I feel I should have kept bidding but I stopped---it sold for only 60.00 on TDNAM just a few minutes ago.
I think they got a very good deal---what does everyone else think?

$60 sounds about $40 too low to me. I'm not a big fan of the name because it's much to broad for my tastes... great keyword but would be hard to rank #1 IMO.

I'd say you did right to not go higher, unless you had serious plans to develop the domain name which I would have paid a bit more. I don't personally believe .ws domain names have much kudos or value and, as dgridley has said, retail is too vague.

Lot of hassle involved in selling domain names so even if you could have made a few dollars on reselling it, not worth the trouble in my experience. Only go for the very best domain names.
