Joystick.com Wins This Week's Domain Sales Race with High Score at SnapNames

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. There were no six-figure blockbusters reported this week but there were so many solid five-figure sales they would not all fit on our new Top 20 chart. A $65,000 .com sale at SnapNames led the charge. A pair of country code domains (one representing Great Britain's .co.uk and the other America's .us) and two .nets joined 16 solid .coms on the all-extension leader board. The .nets led the Global Contenders, claiming 11 of 22 chart entries and .co.uk ruled the County Code chart, taking 4 of the top 5 spots. Read all about it through the link below:

Wow, amazed what some of those names went for. Guess they are worth something to someone

.Mobi also had a name on the top half of the chart with Hobby.mobi tying for the 9th spot at $2,500. That is the second time hobby.mobi has sold in less than a month! In December it changed hands for $1,345 at Afternic. The buyer immediately put the domain back on the market and made a four-figure profit with the sale at Sedo.

Ouch, Hobby.mobi ... sure looks familiar, IMHO. :blink:
