The Thermomix is a multi-purpose kitchen appliance made by the Vorwerk Corporate Group, dating back to 1971. The THERMOMIX brand is thus established; a mixer is also a common name for the appliance that mixes. That reference put the domain name ThermoMixer.com in the sights of the mark owner that filed a UDRP to get the domain.

Despite the apparent compounding of two words, Thermo (warm in Greek) and Mixer (this has to have Latin roots), the domain’s Korea-based registrant and respondent, who identifies simply as “James” in the domain’s WHOIS, lost the UDRP...
