I know alot of people say that these are good, but honestly spanish and portuguese people have been typing in domains without accents for years, most will always type the names without the accents, I know IDN is great in countries with non latin alphabets but in these cases I think anything longer than a five letter words and or has more than one accent are worthless. remember that accents and odd characters require additional key pressing.

Who knows maybe I'm wrong, but I still think this market outside of the non-latin character languages will die as soon as this boom that domainers are trying to make out if it ends.

on that note I do think refúgio.com and competição.com might be worth low $*** each to the right buyer in portugal or brazil

Maybe your right, I don't know. When I first typed in all the special accents I thought by myself that it would be always take so much time. But after checking a lot of domain names it's going very fast and fluently, I don't have to think anymore where the special characters are placed and how to use them. So I think it's even easier for a native one. There is for the moment no type in traffic (just a few maybe, also domainers I think :guilty: ), a lot of people are still using IE6, when IE7 is more common I hope to see a raise. When I write bad English --> say it :talk:
