I expect we'll see more real use of the .US extension in the near future.
Right now an Italian compamy is targeting the US market with a video sharing and TV broadcasting site called: CoolStreaming.us.
http://www.coolstreaming.us/
They also own CoolStreaming.it but that redirects to the .us site(at least
here in America).
If they don't have a bonafide USA presence,they could possibly run into problems with the .US Registry.
That would be a shame since this is real use of the .US extension.
They also need to fix up the Who Is info before someone complains.
They also own the .BIZ version which was registered at the same time but the Who Is there is okay.
