I just regged a domain name that I like and it just happened that another service is using the .io version.
this is what happened, I wanted to reg a name, I typed it on Namecheap and found out it was available, I googled it and found someone is using the .io version.

the domain name is interlay//xyz

tell me what you think.

Thanks

I highly doubt it - they deal with Bitcoin

There is an Interlay that is a trade association for Block paving Driveways....

It can be used for various verticals - carpet fitters as well for example, think you will be fine

I'm not a lawyer though........

Even if they have a trademark, you would have to use the domain in a way that infringes on that mark.

I'm not a lawyer, my advice is worth nothing.

There are only two trademarks that use the word 'Interlay', and they are inactive.

Apart from this, dictionary words are open to general use.

So you can simply register 'apple.info' and create a website about apple varieties in the world, and no one can interfere with it in any way.
