I have a set .co.nz domains registered some time ago at SimplyDomains.co.nz which offers a good pricing compared to other registrars.
You should check it out if you would like to register domains in this extension although it's not a very liquid extension.
You don't see many .co.nz domains sell.

At least i did not notice any lately.

If it is possible to use .com, I would rather use that but if it is necessary to attract local customers, then use .co.nz.
