advice Is PublicDomainRegistry same as BigRock or I am being scammed by seller?

Hello friends. Im buying domain portfolio from a guy from different country using DN.com escrow service. He only has 10 domains with godaddy and the rest with PublicDomainRegistry. Their renewal is 35, same as transfer or fresh registered names. I emailed him saying sorry I changed my mind because I dont want to pay $35 to transfer or renew the domain names at the end of the year. He replied me back with a link to BigRock.com saying that renewal fee is only $10-$12 per domain name. Am I being fooled? Can someone please give me some direction . Thanks.

Sorry I don't know much about PDR, BigRock, ResellerClub. Basically I think there are a group of registrars, some are related and some are the same company with different names.

It's possible your guy is telling the truth.

You can try to telephone BigRock and explain the situation and ask your question directly to them and see what they say.

Sorry I couldn't help more, I don't know much about these registrars and how they're set up.

Well I asked this question here on forum for a reason, right? Didnt want to call or anything. If they were twin companies then their prices would not look so split, one company provides at $35 the other at $12. No logic here.
