IRAN banned from .ASIA Registry - Is a Scandal Orginazation

anyone who used IRAN as a country for registration for .asia is now not eligible for domain ownership! This change was made recently in the .asia registry with out any emails to Domainers who used Iran as a home country.

In the original contract, IRAN was listed. Just found out, they changed there contract with out any notice....

Bad Luck for those of you who are using IRAN....

I had to post this about .asia registry, cause they have had too many scandal ways operating this land rush.. not only did they collect money from every single .asia rush registration... they then decided to auction the domains for more profit with having a lock down on you're cash until auction date is set... they continue to change it and make more money from the interest.... this is unfair to Honest Domainers who wanted to be first in line.

I registered .asia domains seconds after the market opened , and found out the hard way, im actually loosing money in this investment... when I GET A FULL REFUND, the currency exchange rate will kill me... and i will loose...

I wanted to point out how .asia organization operates... UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE

They will change there rules or contract on you with out any notice!

I gotta say...in comparison this makes mTLD look like a perfect registry. Dealing with .asia is just like dealing with ..well...asia. I refuse to do business with anyone outside of Japan, Hong Kong, or maybe S. Korea...everywhere else is full of scandal and corruption..why should their TLD be any different.

Many of the countries in that region do not respect Intellectual Property law. How can one trust them with a business is so similar? BAH

The Asia Registry website still lists Iran as an eligible country of residence.

The point of this thread is not about Iran, its about the corrupted method used in this case to ban IRAN and collect money for reg fee and hold it until auction date! CORRUPTED METHOD if you're going to wipe away a tear! then do it for every single investor involved in the REG FEE SCANDAL!
