In Search of Two Stats For My Domains

Hi, everyone:

I’m trying to find a relatively EASY and INEXPENSIVE way to REGULARLY obtain the following two statistics for each of the ~1,200 domains in my portfolio:

(1) How many COMPANY NAMES exist for the primary keywords in the domain?

I have used the free D&B Company Search to look up this information, but it’s a manual and time consuming process and not a feasible solution for this many domains without automation.

(2) How many EXTENSIONS are taken for the keywords in the domain (exact match, beginning and ending)?

I have a DOTDB membership, but only at the entry level that doesn’t allow for bulk searches. The $99 Pro membership does allow for bulk search, but that’s a steep price to pay on a monthly basis.

I used to have an Estibot membership and I think it gave me number of TLDS, but not company matches.

I am a member of the GD Discount Domain Club and I know they have some free tools, but I’m not familiar with them.

I know there are lots of free and low cost tools out there (that are actually free) so I’m hoping there’s a solution.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi,

you know that when it's free,
then it's always manual and will consume time, at least in the beginning.

and once everybody and their momma hear about it, then the site owner starts charging usage level fees.

i use a couple on occasion, but they are manual too.
you might know them as well.

imo...

Not sure about finding business names, but like Estibot, Atom shows you other TLDs when you list.

A few years back, I had a list of about 800 domain names, that needed research (finding TLDs taken, company offering product or company name, email/phone of potential buyer of the domain, etc.). Hired a virtual assistant from Fiverr.com and he did it for me. It was pretty cheap.

The only thing is, you need to give clear instructions in a word file. Like properly provide step by step instruction and screenshots of the process and they'll do it.

Use free tools like Dun & Bradstreet Company Search, web scraping tools like Selenium or Puppeteer, or Dun & Bradstreet's API to routinely acquire company and domain statistics. Use premium services like SpamAssassin or free tools like GoDaddy Discount Domain Club's Domain Availability Chequer to verify whether domain extensions are already taken. Alternatively, use public WHOIS data to create a script or application that verifies the availability of domains. Achieve the ideal mix between price, usability, and usefulness for your particular needs. Through investigation and testing, you ought to identify an appropriate strategy.
