In-Game Advertising For Sale $2 - Online MMORPG 220 unqiues day

Hi there,

Some of you may be aware that around 3 weeks ago I opened the first Beta round of a new free sci-fi text browser based MMORPG. The game is at http://www.xyber-wars.com. Within the first 3 weeks We have had 400 signups. 330 of those are now active daily players.

Within the game is a 125x125 box displayed on the left hand side of every single page. I wish to sell it at a cheap rate to help pay to fund the game as it is an entirely free to play game.

Only asking for $2 a day to do whatever you like with the ad space. You can put a flash banner in there, a image or just text. As long as it does not break the 125x125 size.

I predict a high clicktrhough rate due to the lenght of time users spend logged into the game and the placement of the good size ad.

.if you go into the game you will see around 330 active players, many of which should be logged on when you check.

Sorry we can not provide more information at at this time. The $2 rate is very good rate, its so cheap because of the lack of details. There is no long term commitment all we ask if you purchase 2 day minimum (so $4). If you have any questions please ask.

Is there any other information you can provide to explain the $2 charge - as unless theres a high click-through rate this is very pricey; 200 daily uniques isn't really that much.

ie - have you ran previous ads? do you monitor ad performance? If so, do you have evidence of past click-thru-rates?

the price set at 2 dollars for the following reasons...

1. It is the only ad space on the site, so your add will never have competition and this add slot needs to pay the entire hosting bill.
2. My 200 active users on average spend more than 3 hours logged in and seeing your ad each day.

To be the only add, viewed by users logged in for such a long time is easy worth $2. Anything less than $2 is not really worth doing, not really interested in chasing cents around.

First ad started running and so far not got click thru rates back.
