For that very name, and that too within past 4 years. I was watching this. Owners are Chinese companies, but TMs are for EU, Germany and US.

I have not made any direct approach so far. Nor have they approached me.

But I sense an opportunity. Has anyone sold a domain name under similar conditions? I kept it with "for sale" message. No Ads.

    Play the waiting game?

I also prefer to use no ads, and i put the domain for sale at a marketplace. Did they register alteady other extentions of your domain name? If they want to go global with their business or services they can be interested in the .com extention ... Don't sell cheap is my advice. GLTA

    Thanks.

Only .net is taken + 1more. Once company TMd the name for 3 classes in one go. Name definitely has a global appeal.

I am waiting and watching for now.

very likely a amazon seller, due to amazon policies, now many or most chinese e-commerce companies are applying trademarks globally so they have a advantages in their TM listings.
amazon previous asked the owner at least reg one domain with the TM(surely no specific extension required),later seems not strictly requiring it.
when i was applying for amazon TM,at least it did not require us,but we still did before we apply the TMin US

I have considered this possibility. The adresses seems to be in Shenzen and typical format of room 11, .. building etc.

Even within amazon, will they allow same name for different products/suppliers within various countries?

    more likely a e-commerce company.
they are required to register TM in every country they are selling
sadlly most are just following fashions, did not have a plan for very long term development for the whole company, they just care their listings and profits.
so not much value for domain names at the beginning.
i just say likely, not for sure.
once they grow bigger enough, and wish to leave amazon(most big enough seller will leave and develop their own e-commerce websites to control everything),then your chance is coming.
    wish you good luck.

i had the same situation a few years ago.
a chinese company registered one of my domain TM in USA,but unwilling to offer middle XXXX USD for my old domain.
sadly later they failed, but leave a unused TM,which also gives me trouble selling my names.
    so everything has two sides.
do not be happy too early.

    Ha.

I am not celebrating early. I too had this inkling of Amazon seller. But last year too one TM was reggd., which shows some value in that name.

And yeah, an abandoned TM will hamper sales. So it goes both ways.:xf.smile:

I have a domain that had 3 separate companies with TM in 3 different countries: 1 in the US, a sports equipment company. 1 in UK, an education and training company. 1 in NZ, an AI/Insurance startup.

I'm using it for my own project, will only sell it if someone offered high enough price.

Yes. If you registered the domain before their TM, you are safe. But that safety will blow out if you first contact them.
    In my opinion.

Not a problem, wait, patience. If you're before TM registration with the domain name registration you're the potential winner. Good Luck
