I got a 650-page domain book for Christmas

K I'm happy now

The first 150 pages of this book are VERY cool. It talks about the finest details of the workings of the DNS, their servers, and how you had to fill out a paper form in the old days to get a domain; nothing was automatic, it was all InterNIC, no ICANN existed.

The last 500 pages are ALL about trademark law and details of popular domain disputes. Did you know CANDYLAND.COM used to be a porn site? Hasbro sued them but after a long legal battle, Hasbro won.

Some very cool stuff

Lol, the book was published in 1998 :p So it's a bit old but still useful.

It's also available on Amazon (and I suspect eBay).. I think I've owned or seen a copy in the past.. sounds like an interesting, if not somewhat outdated, read...
