Robots will be property of a company or person, Japanese are most likely to produce some quality ones.

I read that this was a publicity stunt. The robots creator used to work in special effects in Hollywood.

Regardless, corporations are intent on securing the same rights as individuals. Corporations will eventually use AI to create intellectual property on their behalf.
