like that. i will tell you why, first of all i check before i agree do this deal his flippa feedback and his namepros
profile , feedbacks , likes ( and he old member here). secondly, as a domainers we trust each other here in namepros all the time,
is it not so ??
i want you to help me with your experience what can i do in this case?

No, sorry, we don't trust everyone here. Some people i do trust, very small number. Most I don't

Now days, a person can come here, post in welcome thread, get likes, make a few posts and in a week are

an established member. This business is full of scammers, liars, shill bidders, and greedy people.

Flippa sucks, seems there is always a horror story on here about them. No selfies here

@FlippaDomains should be able to help you out.

This is an unfortunate situation, but could have easily been avoided if @basel just communicated properly right? Why not just tell @iziksan what the hell is going on with you...good or bad...that is the way you do business. You dont just keep quiet man...it pisses people off including me, what else was @iziksan supposed to think after you make promises and keep quiet for days without making payment???

<rant off>

It's a really unfortunate situation to be in.... like everyone has mentioned already there really isn't much you can do.

I think the one small advantage you have is that you have his/her Namepros username ...maybe contact him/her via PM and ask him whats going on and if they still ignore you then make a public post and call him/her out. Not to create any drama but to let other members here know that we should exercise caution when dealing with him/her

Report to Flippa and move on with another sale. Don't need to wait for what Fliipa will do.
Your time is precious!

I have sold one single domain 3 times

1. $36,000 @ NP, Member apologized and we moved on, no big deal.
2. $85,000 @ GD auction, never got paid.
3. $60,000 @ GD premium listings.

"Established Member" means that our automated systems have determined that the member is most likely not a spam robot. It does not mean anything else. To learn more about that, Click Here.

It's a lot more complicated than you described to go from "New Member" to "Established Member", but if you post a detailed welcome thread about yourself, there's a good chance you're not a spam bot. ;)

I have auctions, winning bidders failed to pay. Reported it and move on to the next.
Same thing goes with parking domains, offer made and accepted, but buyer did not complete the transaction. Reported it and move on.

Sadly to say, this is part of our growing industry.

There is nothing to do. Ask Flippa to cancel the action and re list it again. I really can't count the number of times that it happened to me, and I think to all of us. As long as you didn't lost your domain or your money it's all fine, another buyer will come, and maybe with a better offer.

I know. Because of that i trust him.
Flippa already suspend his account.

It is normal behaviour, and becoming acceptable practice to bid and not pay.
Thanks for pointing this member out iziksan

There's a process if someone doesn't pay you on flippa or if the sale doesn't go as it should. You can dispute the sale and explain your case. If the buyer doesn't respond after 3 days or you win the dispute for whatever other reason, your listing will be automatically relisted.

I've had 7 or so cases where I have disputed and won because of failure of payment. This is all too common but just a part of doing business on the internet. I normally don't really care that much when someone doesn't pay as long as it can be relisted while not paying anything extra and I eventually get my monies worth.

I wish as well people would respond and be up front and honest right from the get go instead of being called out later, but it's not a perfect world and people have their own reasons. :)

I don't think you should bother yourself. Domainers usually do that and it's kind of acceptable.
maybe domainers like you. But your new.. Same as the other newbie posts like above. I smell an established member/members/ duplicate accounts. So ya maybe you find it acceptable, maybe cause you do it yourself.
Anyone else notice these new accounts, there is like 6 going around posting little shit messages to build up their count.See the three above that post a lot in same thread
My belief is were adults, most anyways. You wanna play, you pay.
Who wants to do business where its acceptable to make a deal and not pay?
I notice way less shill bidding going on lately, we know who to thank for that.

What happened is acceptable Ali, its all part of the game, keep playing :banghead:

firts of all thank you.

i do contect with flippa. the problem with flippa (One of the many) that they can do nothing realy.
they send him an email and thats it....(it is not the first time it happend to me).
but if you , as a seller, don't pay the 10% after 14 days (i think) they will make you pay.
those kind of things make me realy angry. i miss the chance to sell it to some one else in the same auction
and i realy give him a great deal and he just disappear.
i try again with flippa. why they don't suspend people like that???

i think you should call out the name of the namepros member that refuse to pay, it will really help namepros community.

Doesnt make much sense to me and judging him by his feedback looks out of charecter. Maybe something has happened we dont know about. Hope this guy is ok.

Yeah, you are kind of right BUT - I don't like wasting time.
With this approach there is absolutely no (financial) gain for me.
Only the warm fuzzy feeling that I did some good for another potential seller and that buyer might think twice before applying the same tactic.

...and I can get warm fuzzy feelings in other ways...
I know: I'm not such a good person :)

Alot of empty words.....
Suddenly you are "alive"....
You tell me "give me time till sunday".
In sunday you said "i pay in monday".
Since then you didn't answer any messaeges.
And i saw you were active here and in flippa.
It is not about the money. I don't need your money. It's about respect. You ask me things and i agree. I don't even know you. So you can tell nice stories to get sympathy. It's happend to me 4 times in the last 2 weeks, So it make me mad.
I didn't want to make a BIG DEAL but it happend cause i was angry from all the
"disappeared buyers"....
So i am sorry that we get to this situation.
Good luck to you.

You are right. if he just send me a message i will know that he is not a "ghost"....
And i be waiting more few days if he just ask me to. @basel i send you a message again. please answer me.

Really nothing to do but forget about it and not let yourself be upset about it..

It's just part of the business..

This kind of thing or something similar happens to everyone at some point if they are actively selling domain names..
