How to advertize my College Hockey site and forums.

i finally got my website finish and forums finish. using mybb for the forums. Now I am thinking of ways to advertize it. What do you suggest for me?

try to visit big-boards.com and search for a related topic for your targetted audiences..

I think the best advertising would be to add a link to your forum in your signature in every forum you are a member of, and also join some post exchanges to make the forum look active, people might not join a forum with less or no members.

Do you actually live near a college with a hockey team? You might want to start there with some 'local news' threads and then expand to the other colleges they play and go from there.
