question How sellable are domains with five words?

I've read a lot of posts on the importance of buying a two-word domain name but I would like to know what exactly is wrong with four, five or even six words if it sounds nice and has potential for good returns? Has a domain with five words ever been sold and what can be pointed as the reason for the sale? Thanks. I'm new here, btw.

You are not going to get 4 to 5 word domain accepted at SquadHelp. Every letter more is less likely to sell unless some extraordinary popular phrase and SH might not accept that either. Look at names on the site to see what is wanted there. Almost all are one to two words. I don’t even look at domains with more than 12 characters.

Because domains are closely related with domain names and almost no one is interested in a long name, especially a name of four words. There are some nice three and four word domain names. For example, a few days ago I remembered the domain name thewordofgod.com (we are talking about the words so..) - 4 word domain and it's great name but in that particular domain name the words are very short and it has a strong and unique meaning and influence. If you find a four word domain that has at least approximate meaning and potential and less than 20 letters because no one is interested in sausages for their dn it's ok to invest in it. Three word domains are ok if they have meaning and if there are not very long. Also, if you invest in those kind of domains invest only in dot com. Five and more words forget in my opinion.

I own PayForMyTime.com which is also 4 word and 12 letter

So far the word is strong and has possible usage it's ok..you will notice that this 4 word are only 12 letter in character most 2 words domain are more than 12letter or around 12letter

Depends on the domain, 5 words seems like a lot, my longest one is 3 words.

For me personally, I would stay away from acquiring/registering domains with 4 or 5 words. Although it depends on what those names are, the chances of selling them are very slim. I wouldn't take that chance.

One benefit of a five-word domain is that you're safe from typosquatters. Hardly anyone will be willing to type it in, so there's just no potential for typos.

The least amount I ever sold a domain for was a 5 worder -for $700, so while I agree that random '5 word' domains generally have the lowest sales value, and volume... if you focus on popular phrases -then add descriptive qualifiers: [GreatestOfAllTime](movies).com, [WhatsGoingOn](City).com, etc., the odds improve.

Sometimes, a 4 or 5 word phrase can be in such demand its registered in every conceivable way.

It's cheaper for sure and you might actually learn something.
