How much junk (snail) Mail do you get because of your Who-Is info?

Its soo funny, just playing around a few years ago to see how much spam (snail mail) i would get. I would put each domain name, as my middle name to find out the source of all my mail. still 4yrs later i get TONS of junk mail in those names..

ie.

If my name was JIM JONES, i would write my name as JIM EHOEZ JONES on my who-is for that domain. and so on.

some from AMEX, Discover cards, Visa Offers, office depot, ect....

Its always funny to see, what i'm always "PRE APPROVED" for. lol

I dont like using privacy because i prefer people to be able to contact me, incase they do want to buy. (I dont own any TMed names*)

Of course you are going to get more junk emails, the more domains you own. So the question should really be.. what percentage of junk emails do you get relative to the number of domains you own.

I use a gmail.com account for my email address. They seem quite good at filtering out the junk emails. Not all, but most.

I recently let a number of whois guards drop and my spam intake just about doubled in a month's time.
