question How important are backlinks when it comes to marketing to buyers?

After scouting around for juicy new domain names I seem to notice that sometimes I'll find a diamond.

Good CPC
Great search results/traffic
Searchable/pronounceable/catchy

But then I'll see that it has little to no backlinks, how important is this when advertising to potential buyers?
