Wondering if its cheaper to start your own registrar and webhosting at home than to stretch yourself thin across the net? any opinions? ( You know stop renting and owning, lol)

it cost 185,000 just to apply for a new tld, and 3500 non refundable deposit to icann to start a registrar.

not really hard. But that is not what your home PC was designed for... I mean better spend a few $$ and have account form the host. I believe such companies like bluehost, kvchosting, hostgator etc will not charge you much.
