No. They have a connection directly to the registry. Each registrar is given such a connection and dropcatchers usually buy more registrars and use those connection.

Random bots would have no power in this case.

DropCatch.com which is the biggest owns almost 1.7K registrars if I'm correct. Dynadot has like 20-30. Others have a varied number.
