I would choose to sell on gumroad.com and advertise my ebook in my signature and or avatar. Good luck!

Above all, create a domain for your ebook. It doesnt have to be exact, and re-direct to the book page amazon, gumroad etc, make domain under your profile photo. Good luck!

Wow 400 pages, I hope it's all your own work/words. You don't want any accusations of plagiarism following your book around.

But, as Samer mentions. I've been quite surprised how supportive Amazon appear to be for printed versions of previously unknown writers. I've even purchased a few books on specialist subjects from basic atom and electrical theory to the nature of quantum theory and applications.

These books tend to be short, around a 150 pages or less and many are local publications Doctorate thesis etc translated in English. But it shows you can find an outlet.

I don't think it's a good idea to be 'Promoting' a book before you have at least a hard copy of the finished text in hand, preferably in its bound and saleable format. It going to read too much as a speculative venture and book buyers are impulsive buyers (even for future publications) For a factual book your going to be Quoting contents and examples for it to be taken seriously. Also picture/s of the finished bound work goes a long way.

Expect your background and expertise to be truly scrutinised and commented on by fellow domainers

late addition. I've realised you've referenced it as an ebook - pretty much everything said above still applies and that includes Amazon as an outlet

Thank you so much for your well-thought-out feedback on my post. In my opinion, if you don't tell people what you are doing or about to do, nobody will ever know. Secondly, I do give credit to whom credit is due because researchers or other writers deserve recognition for their work. The reason why I decided to write a 300 to 400-page book is that I wanted to write a book that business school students, domain investors, and everyday Joe who is hearing about the domain for the first time will find useful. Fyi. "Evolution" will be published later this year. Moreover, it is my second book on domain investing. My first book "Accidental Domain Investor" is available on Amazon. Again, thank you for your feedback.

nice one, your clearly not the novice publisher that came across in your original post. I would have thought with your knowledge you would be posting your questions on 'publishing websites' There must be similar interactive boards that discuss such matters. I certainly see the market in self-publishing (if that's the right description) growing all the time. I wish you the best for the future.

PS I also now note selfpublishing and all its uncles and nephews are taken in the domain world ;) none by me.
Perhaps the OP might want to check them out to see if any resolve to genuine content.
