Hope you do well with 3DChannel. It seems weird seeing it in someone else's hands. I think I owned it for around 12 or 13 years :xf.smile:

Haha, I've owned Channel3D for the same length of time. Hoping for a sale one day....

Picked up SnookerVR the other day. I think that could be made for VR in the same way table-tennis has proven to be. All you need is a slight haptic feedback for the illusion of resting your hand on the table.

While the DNJ's last list had quite a few 'Meta' names... this week...
MetaAvatars.net $43,700

VirtualAssets.com $26,000
hyper-reality.com $6,325

While it will take some time to tell for sure, all the larger sales we have seen the last few months seem to be investor plays. Investors actually do not have a good batting avg. The few who do make all the headlines.
And the above may be a good thing, I would like to see some end-use plays to tell me this has raw strength.
To early ? Covid has changed all the timelines for the good and the bad.

I watched the HTC live reveal of the Vive Flow. Seems pretty underwhelming and hard to see it selling a lot of units. I get that it's lightweight and portable, but at $500 and with very inferior screens, I don't know why anyone would choose it just to watch media on it. Most importantly, it can't play anywhere near the resolution of the lastet VR smut videos (7 or 8K), so I doubt if many will purchase it just to watch smut. I was hoping they would at least release something that might give Oculus a little competition.

I suspect the street price will be $100 less. I am waiting to see the acceptance by the public and much of that hinges on content availability from launch through next year. Surely they have their ducks lined up ?
But I had figured there would be some 'cheap' video only media only devices in the early game

It is a specialized segment.
Unless there gets to be a whole lot of competition in the hardware market (that I don't see), I figure my names listed above would be lucky in the low end of 4 figures. Things could change, but I'm covered.
Hardware names never have much volume for retail sector. Few co's making, and distributed by just a few co's. When you have 18+ co's in the same market, that changes. This looks like a 6-9 player game at this point... 12?
I have time to wait and see and I did not overplay it. But I do think 3d/vr movies are going to be big.
Many folks that do not game will find value, but including those that do game. Much wider audience.
