Has anyone tried parking their VR/AR domains? if yes, how profitable it is?
I have done 2 of my short names(VRLL, NNVR), getting 8-12 uniques/day and 2-4 clicks too....

Googles new entry for the year has got me a bit more curious.
But there are to be several new devices out by xmas that feature inside out tracking.
But will they all have a great 'fast' display ?
And... Here is that word again..... Cinematic Reality (Magic Leaps original description)

Augmented reality payments are going to be huge... Eventually, there's going to be an integrated "See and Buy" system... Your AR glasses (or "glARsses," as I call them...) will recognize an item, provide details regarding its features and use, and allow you to either purchase the item immediately in a retail environment OR allow fulfillment a la Amazon, etc. To this end, I'm still hanging on to:

Holo Pay
3D pay ;)

I like the 'pay' keyword, and like you said, it's going to work very well in this niche.

I sold glancepay last year, sort of wish I had held onto it longer.

Good luck!

eCommerceAR

A few days ago we were discussing payment in VR / AR... Looks like some folks are just about there in terms of designing the software... ;)

A very interesting development. BUILT.io - If it takes root.
http://www.techrepublic.com/article...-digital-experience-platform-for-sports-fans/

There are no less than 6 company's working on the same.
AR used in conjunction with a smartphone has the best play here.... But, Still no devices in the market !
Apple may be the first ? Going to be a few years yet for these things to take shape.
No I'm not sure where a solid names play is with this, but a few scattered possibilities.
But I feel, if this ends up being a winner, and it probably will, it will be in the fact of giving a person
not in attendance the same experience. That is the end play I think.

Magic Leap Raising Series D Investment, Could Value Company at $6–8 Billion

http://www.roadtovr.com/report-magic-leap-raising-series-d-investment-value-company-6-8-billion/

For a company that’s showed almost no one what they’re building, Magic Leap has been phenomenally successful at fundraising. The company has previously raised a staggering $1.4 billion, and if a recent report turns out to be true, they’re about to raise even more, reportedly pushing the company’s valuation to $6–8 billion.

I hope with all this money they are capable to suprise everyone with a consumer device far earlier then anticipated. It would be great if they can swing some serious punches at Apple and Google. I am all-in with Magic Leap / Mixed Reality (MR).

Just remember, HYPE is to lure investors.
It will still be years before we see a product and if it lives up to promise, it will be very costly.
While I fully understand the reasons for doing so, there is no way to build your own proprietary chips in the US cost effectively.
When I see their employment numbers near 400 of the 725 they promised to S.Florida, they may be within 15 months of a release. And that will probably be a developer's prototype.
I expect one more round of funding where they will need to reveal a little more 'something real' to get it.

The one thing they have in display tech is this remarkable retina projector.
I have followed them since those related patents.

Here is something from the end of last year to ' cool your engine's '

Dunno when its out for consumers but the devkit is out already for atleast 300 developers for awhile now and in a few months the cycle is expending.
