The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
A forgotten keyword ? 4D Not hearing much from the group but I keep reading on it.
http://www.financialmirror.com/newsml_story.php?id=68031
4Dvirtualcinema 4Dpods 4Dcinemapods 4Dvrpods 4Dteleporter
I think it will be 2-4 more years for them to begin to ripen. But ripen they will.
Of course any 'major player' could shake/stir that up at any time.

And just a thought with iMax's new Arcade launches to come...
I see that ArcadeTheater.com has been reg'd since 2002.
Wonder what exactly they envisioned for the name back then ? Great Hold !

I've not really invested too much in 4D, but got 4D+Cine dot com in the NamePros 'Fixed Price' section if anyone's interested (y)

More on 4D... Now 4D can mean different things depending on what you are talking about.
Could there be some other name to describe it... 'Sensory Reality' ?
I wouldn't advise buying a bunch of names just yet but it does present itself.

No, I'm not playing this.... yet anyway. Interesting read just the same.

And I still find a future for VRPODS. It seems to be a growing need.

disregarding vr ar etc for moment, I think namebio is showing a nice bunch of 4d related names .. if memory serves well... now linking all this to vr.. ar.. or others.. though there is nothinbg wrong with envisioning VR+4d in one way or another.... linking that could be different new story for future..

nonetheless, VR4d..com did just sell for 3k on namebio. .. welll earlier this year :)

not going far for now. but looks awaiting development.

cheers

YouTube VR, as it’s being called, is something the company calls a “co-watching experience”. Coming later this year, it adds shared virtual rooms you can create and access through Daydream with VR headsets, which will set you and your friends in the middle of 360-degree videos you can watch.

VRCoExperience(s) / VRCo-Experience(s) / CoExperience(s)VR / Co-Experience(s)VR

Today, Clay Bavor and the VR team delivered some exciting news starting off with his thoughts on the technology. Bavor believes that VR and AR fall under one umbrella called the “Spectrum of immersive computing.” Instead of separating the two technologies, Bavor believes that they conjoin through the process of computer generation.

In the meantime, if VR and AR are two points on a spectrum, what should we call the spectrum? Here are a few ideas — immersive computing, computing with presence, physical computing, perceptual computing, mixed reality, or immersive reality. This technology is nascent, and there’s a long way to go on our definitions, but for now, let’s call this immersive computing.

I have spent the last year and a half targeting and buying VR + ??? + ROOM and a few other keywords that represent 'a place where folks get together' for socialVR.
When I think I am done with that, I find some other good ones. I know many were skeptical on my buys,
but I'm still confident on them and expand them as I see good cobo's.
ie VRSportsArena (recent) VRChatRooms (long hold) But I do find ROOM as most popular for use.

So IMHO, many are looking at things like this wrong. I'm looking at the broader implications.
Anything that brings folks together in the same place is a form of SocialVR.
And 'room' is my top pick for that, albeit a virtual room.
I kinda think that I may know how those chips will fall starting next year. :-P

If the acronym 'AVR' triumph you will enter in the Forbes List.
The words you have are real gems in this niche.

The market is already beginning to use this acronym,

Sorry i didn’t realise you bought Immersive+computing dot com @sirlordcomic

I was just reading about Google’s press conference today and reading about what they call VR/AR, scrolled through the thread quickly to see if anyone’s posted about it and thought you were just posting about that.

Ftr i do think the domain you showcased is a great domain to own, one of the world's biggest companies using it to call 2 industries tipped to revoutionise things can't be bad can it? Would have caution anyone registering IC+keywords though.
