About two weeks ago I hand-regged a few domains that were dropped, and I noticed that they are still listed for sale on Sedo and/or Afternic with the details of the one I suppose is the previous owner.
For example, one is for sale for 6k$, another for about 2k$, two more for 15k+$...my first thought is that it would hurt my reputation, let alone my chances to sell them, as people would doubt that I'm the real owner...sure, they can check the whois, but this confusion could still affect the negotiation process.
Therefore I sent an email to Sedo, asking them to fix that...still got no answer though, maybe I'll have to wait until Monday.
So, I would like to ask you guys...is it completely normal? How do you normally handle this?
Do you agree with my interpretation, or is there any way this all thing can be used to my advantage? (for example, showing people that the domains were listed for sale for a higher price and they would now get a bargain)
Thanks for your answers!
