Hand-regged dropped domains still listed for sale

About two weeks ago I hand-regged a few domains that were dropped, and I noticed that they are still listed for sale on Sedo and/or Afternic with the details of the one I suppose is the previous owner.

For example, one is for sale for 6k$, another for about 2k$, two more for 15k+$...my first thought is that it would hurt my reputation, let alone my chances to sell them, as people would doubt that I'm the real owner...sure, they can check the whois, but this confusion could still affect the negotiation process.

Therefore I sent an email to Sedo, asking them to fix that...still got no answer though, maybe I'll have to wait until Monday.

So, I would like to ask you guys...is it completely normal? How do you normally handle this?

Do you agree with my interpretation, or is there any way this all thing can be used to my advantage? (for example, showing people that the domains were listed for sale for a higher price and they would now get a bargain)

Thanks for your answers!

Yes, it's normal.

Just wait till Monday. They have no office during weekends.

Unfortunately, that happens often. Previous owners don't clean their listings.
You did the right thing, just have to be patient now.

Now, if you want to list them for sale on Sedo you can. If you add the domains under your account, this would normally trigger an ownership review.

True, Sedo makes it easier than Afternic, where you just can't list a domain for sale if it's already present.

Still, next time I have to add a ccTLD name, I'll ask for the removal of the old listing first, as the review process may take forever, and in the meantime, if the page is parked, the old details are still displayed.

I would never suggest making an offer of $1000 on the names but that could be amusing- you'll get to see how ethical domainers are when they email you offers of $500 the next day vs those who will freely admit they no longer own it vs those who ignore the offer.....

Of course the best course of action is simply to do what you did and ask for a cleanup.
