Man, some of the things I see domainers try to pull are truly bad. Not just crappy domains or spammy/scammy selling tactics... but just all-around really bad and give domainers a black eye in the public's eye. I just had to start a 'hall of shame'... for the REAL BAD ones you see.
Some names might be fun, but this is also a real eye opener. I'll start with this one, which is the one that finally drove me to begin this thread:
AsianaFlight214Fund.com
Asiana flight 214 is the one that crashed earlier this year. This domainer has the domain for sale on Godaddy auctions, in the 'featured' area, with an 'offer $10,000 or more' opening bid... same guy also regged the dot.net/info/org on the same day. Yeah, better nab all of those. I thought for a millionth of a second that he might actually have something to do with a fund/org to help the cause... but nope, no such fund by that name. Just trying to make a buck - or ten thousand bucks - off these domains.
I've seen some low ones, but that one is just wrong in so many ways. Damn, hated to see it. Anyhoo, contribute if you find any. Let these guys know what we think of them.
