I've recived that scam email asking what my price for the domain is. Should I even reply and if, what price should I say? If it's no value at all, then maybe it's just bast to get rid of it?

The domain won't have any value since it has no meaning for business. Do you have any company in mind which could be interested in it? On the other hand, if you owned Sold123.com it would make more sense and had more value. With this said, a reg fee, IMO, if undeveloped. Good Luck.

Yes, there is quite a few web sites / services which are dealing with habits of all sorts. I just don't know how to reach them and WTF should I write anyway?

Well, we're staying in contact with the "scamer".

I without any expirience here, so I'm asking you for an advice.

The price I've set is 500 €. He doesn't have anything to say against that specific price, but by all means wants a professional, manual apprasial, which would cost me 50 or 60 €.

Plus, he wants 12-15 % discount. And I am also offering him two other habits domain names: myhabits.eu and habits123.info.

I've find an evaluation model and if I go through it quickly, perhaps you can find any value in it? Tnx.

Habits are something we are ALL dealing with. It could be ANY kind of habits: bad habits, good habits. Daily routines as habits. Then we have special sorts of habits, for instance bad (smoking, sleeping to long, procrastinating) or good (for business: like the book 7 habits of highly successful people etc.). So, habits are really part of our everyday. For each and every one of us.

4. Development Potential
There is a lot of development potential. It could be developped into a site for some kind of special habits (look at point 3, marketability) or it could be even developed as a gateway to all other habits site/tips that are out there. It can even be developped into somekind of service (which was first meant, but I don't have time to do it), which would help you to gain good and brake the bad habits.

5. Length
Well, it's not really an LLLL.com, but it's not that long either: 6L + 3N.

6. Likely Buyer
For the end user/buyer, I could look in plenty of directions: all of the blogs which are out there and all of the services which are offering you gaining/braking habits. I don't have a lot of them, but this topic is pretty *HOT* I believe. Why? Because there are daily more topics about it and in many areas, especially for high-productive business people wanna-be's and wanna-stay's . If anywhere, I think the cash is in the business.

7. Traffic and Revenue
If developted into somekind of gateway for other habits sites, it could get *A-LOT* of traffic. Just look how popular the sites like Zen habits or Steve Paulina's blogs are. If you are able to give people somekind of good organized, well written and summarized/cathegorized gateway to all of that VERY good content, then I believe traffic shouldn't be under the question. I also believe there could be a-lot of revenue from the PPC/Affiliate programs. Because people who are willing to make a change, to brake/gain a habit, are constantly looking for more information/tools for finally succed in doing so.


I don't know, this is my first domain sale and perhaps I'm not evaluating my domain objectivly, but if I consider everything I've wrote above, I could convince myself that 500 € is even to small of a price for that domain.

I am very passionate about the topic, so I think I'm going to develop the site and sell it all togheter as I really think this domain can be developed into a great site.

So you could possibly find an enduser in the fashion industry in France.

That's the only way I could really see any possible value in this name.

That is most likely scam message you got there. I'm 95% sure . For appraisal I would say if properly developed it could be a really nice site. I like the domain - simple and easy to remember. For reseller value probably reg fee - 20$. Good luck with it.
