Great Rankings! How to make the money now??

Hi.... Just regg'ed a name in the last 2 weeks..... Already for certain keywords it is ranked...these are all different word(s) and combos..This is on Google....

I have some traffic....about 20 a day and am using adsense...I am making a couple bucks a day so far in the short term. Is there anything else I could be doing to increase visits/revenue??? Currently I am just using a template setup for the website..

well.. 20 visitors a day is nothing. But if your making "couple bucks a day" from adsense then great.

How about making whatever the keyword is? ie: "article marketing" offer a article marketing service. Or find an affiliate program to promote that relates to your traffic.

First of all, you should continuously improve the quality of your website so that these visitors often return to your website. Once they return, you'll have more traffic and you'll earn more. Also fresh content is also important to fees search engine spiders.

Bounce rate

You should be checking to see how long these visitors stick around your site. Depending on your industry you could add some affiliate programs. Amazon has books on anything so that could be one place to start.

Not a lot of people talk about it these places, but the way to make the most money off the web is through offline monetization, i.e., get on the phone or in person and sell advertising. I worked for a company that made 300/month with adsense. The exact same site, same traffic, made 20,000 the first month they hired a sales person and started making deals in person.

You can either work to build that site, or try and get a name in a more competitive area and see if you can get similar results with a higher traffic base. Your techniques for getting ranking seem to be working, may be better to put your efforts into a more lucrative arena.

Another approach may be to try and broaden your site, or concentrate your SEO on one of the keywords in your name (if multi word). Whatever you work towards it should be an area with a high traffic base and a good payout area.

Depending on the niche, there may be some good affiliate programs available through CJ or a similar service. What works for one site, may not be optimal for another. Really depends on what your site is about. Look around the forums and see if you can find a similar project and learn from it.

I like TV for a number of reasons and plan to add more to my collection. Mostly holding for the moment, although I have set placeholder sites up on a few of them. Have been spending a lot of time looking at various development options, but haven't found the toolset I'm really looking for yet. Some interesting possibilities emerging though in terms of conventional site building and early internet to tv platforms.

For now, just tuning my portfolio and preparing for the transition. The technological convergence that is occuring is beginning to pick up pace. Ideally I will be positioned well when that happens.
